Spiderweb has released their newest project BIONIC featuring a number of guitarist and raising money for the charity Hungry for Music. It’s a 7 minute long track full of different guitar techniques.

Originally from Glasgow, Spiderweb (D.R Webster) has created a song based purely on showcasing the talent from different guitarists such as Steve Hackett, Kee Marcello, Marcelo Barbosa, John Wesley, Tye Zamora, Maria Barbieri, Vanny Tonon, Gustav Barros, Gordon McNeil, Dylan Tann, and Dave Tither. All of these special guests have contributed something different to this unique track.

I will admit at first I did think the song was very long, but listening to the pure talent that reeks through the composition it was definitely worth staying and listening right until the end. The different pinch harmonics that have been implemented in this song is beautiful. There are no vocals throughout, but this doesn’t take away the enjoyment you can get from listening to it. It most definitely reminds me of a alternative rock intro for a WWE wrestler!

The riffs are phenomenal in this track. There’s just something that all guitarists can admire about this track. If you’ve never picked up a guitar, listen to this song and I am sure you will want to learn and create something just as amazing as these guys have.

I think it is great these people have come together to create something for charity, which in itself is rewarding. Not only do we get to enjoy the talent and abilities from these accomplished people, they are helping under served children to learn instruments and strive in the music industry.
