Drawing from the introspective depths of artists like Peter Gabriel and James Blake, the track leans into vulnerability headfirst, tackling mental health, depression, and the exhausting battle with inner demons. It’s stark, intimate, and unapologetically dark.
“Voices” opens on a thick, ominous drone. A gritty pulse hums underneath, setting a slow-burning tension before Harris’s voice slips in, low, breathy, and aching. His vocals feel almost fragile, as if they might collapse under their own weight, yet that fragility is exactly what gives them power.
