Today, rising stars of Atlanta's indie-jam scene, Frute, are proud to announce the release of their latest studio single, "Emmeline." This captivating, ethereal track serves as a tantalizing taster for the band's eagerly awaited upcoming EP, Frission scheduled for release this spring.

"Emmeline" spins a haunting tale of a mysterious and enigmatic female figure who lurks in the shadows. Mirroring its intriguing protagonist, the track weaves a tapestry of swirling synths and mystifying guitar riffs, creating an aura that is as perplexing as it is enticing. Recorded at Big Trouble Studio by renowned engineer T.J. Elias (Thievery Corporation, Grouplove) and mixed and mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone (Tame Impala, MGMT, Paul Simon), the song is beautifully carried by the soulful and melodious voice of frontwoman Alo Ver.

Frission, Frute's much-anticipated five-track EP, signifies a monumental leap forward for the group, both sonically and stylistically. The project effortlessly traverses genres, blending elements of early 2000s indie, '60s psychedelia, and world music over a contemporary pop and electronica-infused backdrop. The outcome is a potent project that offers a concise snapshot of a supremely talented collective with an uncanny knack for song craft and storytelling. Of particular excitement for the Frute faithful is the fact that each track on the EP holds the potential for boundless musical exploration when performed live.
