The Tiger Lillies @Tipi am Kanzleramt / Berlin

Some weeks before Judit from The Netherlands asked me if I would like to accompany her to the Tiger Lillies at the Tipi.
I was looking some youtube videos of them and well I thought this could be interesting. So I ordered two tickets for us.
We met some hours before at our home talked a little bit about children, friends and politics and left 1 hour later to arrive at the Tipi in time.
We got some good place almost in the front of the stage. The program was strange, obscure, freaky. Martyn Jaques - the front man in clowns painting, hat and accordeon - was singing in his typically style - and the band accompied him. The music of the Tiger Lillies is described as "a provocative and avant- garde three-piece band that combines cabaret, vaudeville, music-hall and street theatre.
They made a short break and we went outside for one cig. I played music for Judit out of my smartphone (Move it by Balkan Beat Box) and she liked it very much.
After the break they performed some more. Especially to mention is the bass-guitar player who also played a swa like a yello.
It was almost 11pm when we went back to the underground where we said goodbye.
